I met Mike (Pony) Hewetson and discovered Oracle around two and
a half years ago. There had been a void in my music world because I couldn't find spiritual music that I appreciated after
being into bands like Hawkwind for many years. Not a lot of music compares to that in my opinion-well until Oracle!
Pony has sent me all of the Oracle albums and I've spent many happy
hours listening and being lifted to a higher plain!
I especially enjoy their cover versions of Hawkwind
and you'll find a few tracks to listen to here. You can order it along with all of their other albums too if you like.
Pony sings 'Silver Machine' in the Lemmy style but has made a new
recording of it with more similarity to Dave Brock's voice. I'll include it soon.
I created this website in appreciation of Oracle and the richness
of sound they've brought to my life. I feel strongly that there are people out there like myself who are seeking something
imaginitive, powerful, uplifting, courageous and thrilling to listen to that is also spiritual.
I'd like to thank each and every band member who has ever been
a part of Oracle and my 16 yr old son Dale who created the Oracle banner.
